Inspiration

INSPIRATION -- written on April 17, 2014

Who inspires you? Don't think about it for too long. Who was the first person you thought of?
Queen Latifah was my inspiration back in 2014. She had the best daytime show on television. The Queen Latifah Show was so positive and upbeat, I loved it. I watched every show, sometimes more than once.
After watching two episodes of her show today, I found myself turning toward the library on my way across town. I don't remember deciding to go there, but I went inside and found Queen Latifah's autobiography LADIES FIRST.
With a quick glance at a random page, I decided to read the book as soon as possible and took it to check-out.

INSPIRATION Follow-Up -- October 25, 2014
I decided to type the above to show you an example of my ideas and because I still consider Queen Latifah as an inspiration.
If your first thought about my journal entry is, It isn't finished, don't feel alone. But, the third or fourth time I read it, I thought, "Maybe that is all I intended to write." I don't know for sure if I intended to add more later, but it is possible. On the other hand, it does make sense by itself.
Now, I have a question for you. How does an inspiration help you take your first baby-steps toward Taming Depression? Please comment and tell me what you think.
